About Eid ul-Fitr
Eid ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic month of fasting, and begins with the sighting of the new moon of Shawwal. Because the date depends on the moon, it can differ by a day between countries.
The day starts with special Eid prayers, followed by giving zakat al-fitr to the poor, wearing new clothes, visiting family and enjoying sheer khurma and sevaiyan.
Prepare creatives in advance and post as soon as the moon is sighted; 'Chand Mubarak' posts work the evening before.
